Artwork and layout review
Engraving quality starts with usable artwork and a layout that fits the available surface. Vector artwork is preferred when practical because it supports cleaner scaling and positioning. RMCS reviews the requested design and available engraving area before final approval.
Material and finish considerations
Different materials, coatings and surface finishes can react differently to laser processes. The requested item and desired result should be reviewed before production settings or final appearance are promised.
Names, logos and custom graphics
Eligible personalization can include names, text, logos and approved custom graphics. Customers should have the right to use any artwork, trademarks or protected designs they submit for engraving.
Firearm-related work
Firearm engraving is handled within the same controlled service environment as other RMCS firearm work. Any marking associated with regulated manufacturing, serialization or other legal requirements must follow the applicable rules and approved records.
Proof before production
For custom artwork, a visual proof or placement confirmation can reduce avoidable mistakes. Final price, turnaround and production approval are confirmed by RMCS after the project is reviewed.
