Engraving quality starts with usable artwork and a layout that fits the available surface. Vector artwork is preferred when practical because it supports cleaner scaling and positioning.

RMCS Arms accepts laser engraving requests for eligible firearm components and custom projects. Artwork, placement, material, finish and the requested result are reviewed before production so the project scope is clear before work is accepted.

What RMCS reviews before engraving
A good engraving result starts with the artwork, the available surface and a clearly defined request. RMCS reviews those details before final approval.
Material and finish
Different materials, coatings and surface finishes can respond differently to laser processes. The item and desired result are reviewed before production settings or final appearance are approved.
Names, logos and custom graphics
Eligible personalization can include names, text, logos and approved custom graphics. Customers are responsible for having the right to use artwork, trademarks or protected designs they submit.
Firearm-related projects
Eligible firearm engraving is handled within the same controlled service environment as other RMCS firearm work. Markings connected with regulated manufacturing, serialization or other legal requirements must follow applicable rules and RMCS records.
Placement and available area
The requested location, available engraving area and surrounding features can affect layout. Include the desired placement in the request so RMCS can review whether the artwork fits the intended surface.
Proof and final approval
For custom artwork, a visual proof or placement confirmation can reduce avoidable mistakes. Final price, turnaround and production approval are confirmed by RMCS after the project is reviewed.
